These Sugar-Free & Oil-Free Vegan Pancakes are the most delicious ever! They are pretty healthy too!

Do you like pancakes fluffy and thick or thinner? We love both kinds, that’s why we have both kinds of recipes!
To have your pancakes spread more, and thus be thinner, just increase the amount of plant milk in the recipe, if needed. This will make the batter less viscous, so that it will spread more before beginning to set, therefore giving you thinner pancakes!

The trick not to need oil or any kind of fat for cooking your pancakes is to get yourself a pancake pan with a non-stick surface and low lip. They are very easy to find, cheap and really worth it! You must also set the heat of the stove to the minimum setting so they don’t burn! The first pancake will take longer but after that, they cook very fast.

Another trick for making the perfect pancakes is to wait until the pancake bubbles; try to lift it and if it is not sticking to the pan, flip it over. If it is stuck, then wait longer.

We use oat milk, but you can use soy or any other kind of plant milk. We like oat milk because is very nutritious and oats are naturally sweet!
These pancakes are sugar-free because we use bananas to make them sweet! No need for sugar or any kind of syrup. We always make double or triple the amount of this recipe and refrigerate the batter so we can enjoy pancakes for a few days. Our favourite toppings are all kinds of fruits and berries (mangos, kiwis, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, etc.), walnuts, sliced almonds, vegan vanilla sauce, maple syrup, blueberry syrup or our homemade vegan coconut whipped cream (very easy to make and you will not miss the dairy one!).
You can make your own berry sauce by combining 1 cup of raspberries and 1 cup of blueberries in a blender. You could use sweeteners of any kind but we personally do not. We add one or two ripe bananas to the blend and it comes out sweet, and delicious! Our homemade coconut whipped cream is very simple, check our recipe Easy Peasy Vegan Whipped Cream.
