We love apple pie, so we thought the idea of making an apple pie vegan milkshake sounded delicious and healthy. It’s so naturally sweet, creamy and will satiate all your sweet tooth cravings!
Ripe bananas provide us with a natural sweet flavour without having to add any kind of sweeteners.
We use frozen bananas to get a quick creamy effect butyYou could use non frozen ones. The flavour will be the same, just the consistency will change slightly. A high-speed blender is needed in order to handle the blending of frozen bananas. If you do not have one, then you should use non frozen ones.
If you have never frozen bananas before, here is a quick guide on how to do so:
- Wait a few days until the bananas are ripe enough (the more ripe they are, the sweeter the milkshake will become).
- Peel the bananas.
- Cut them in small pieces.
- Place them into a freezer-safe container or bag.
- Place the container in the freezer overnight.
