Have you tried fine kelp? Kelp is a brown alga used abundantly in kitchens around the world. Highly beneficial to health, kelp exhibits anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-coagulatory properties. Regular consumption of kelp helps you fight diseases like cancer, various inflammations, and blood disorders. It helps increase bone density and is a good source of iodine (extracted from curejoy.com).

What about flax seeds? They are SO healthy. Some call it one of the most powerful plant foods on the planet. Thereโs some evidence it may help reduce your risk of heart disease, cancer, stroke, and diabetes. Thatโs quite a tall order for a tiny seed thatโs been around for centuries. Benefits of flaxseed include helping improve digestion, skin, cardiovascular health, cholesterol and hormone balance while fighting cancer and even sugar cravings โ and thatโs just the beginning! Their benefits are mind-blowing (have a look at this info from draxe.com).

We use frozen bananas to get a quick creamy effect. A high-speed blender is needed in order to handle the blending of frozen bananas. If you do not have one, try with a food processor, but not a regular blender as it could break.

If you have never frozen bananas before, here is a quick guide on how to do so:
Wait a few days until the bananas are ripe enough (the more ripe they are, the sweeter the smoothie bowl will become).
- Peel the bananas.
- Cut them in small pieces.
- Place them into a freezer-safe container or bag.
- Place the container in the freezer overnight.
