Our Blueberry Nice Cream made of bananas, blueberries, strawberries and unprocessed peanut butter is simply amazing! So creamy and delicious, you can make it in just a few minutes. Just throw the ingredients (only 5!) in the blender and you’re all set! It’s packed with tons of flavour, full of nutrients like potassium and Vitamin C, sugar-free and gluten-free, which makes it the perfect nutritious snack any time you’re experiencing your sweet tooth cravings ?

You’re gonna need frozen bananas to get the quick creamy ice cream effect. You will need a high-speed blender in order to handle the blending of frozen bananas. If you do not have one, a food processor could work as well. Don’t use an ordinary blender because it could break.

How to freeze bananas for the making of banana ice cream

If you have never frozen bananas before, here is a quick guide on how to do so:

Wait a few days until the bananas are ripe enough (the more ripe they are, the sweeter the ice cream will become).

  1. Peel the bananas.
  2. Cut them in small pieces
  3. Place them into a freezer-safe container or bag.
  4. Place the container in the freezer overnight.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 frozen medium-sized bananas, sliced
  • 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 4 frozen strawberries
  • 2 tbsp unprocessed peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup oat milk, add more or less depending on which consistency you want to achieve
  • Blueberries, for serving on top

Instructions
 

  • In a high-speed blender, combine frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, frozen bananas, peanut butter and oat milk, and blend until smooth.
  • Serve into bowls and decorate with extra blueberries on top. Consume immediately, you’ll love it!
